Atrocities: Putting a bottle in a woman's private part, making a rooster in the sun and putting bricks on her back
Bareilly: A woman in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly has accused her husband of molesting her. In fact, the woman here has complained to the police that her husband had thrown a bottle into her private part demanding dowry. Not only that but the woman was made into a rooster in the sun and bricks were placed on her back. According to the information received in the case, the victim has lodged a complaint with the SSP's office seeking action against her husband. Police say the woman has been married for four years. The woman has alleged that her husband committed adultery with her as she did not get dowry as per her intention in the marriage.
The incident took place in the Ijjatnagar police station area of Bareilly. The woman told police that her marriage took place on July 7, 2016. His family members donated dowry according to their status. But soon after the marriage, her husband and in-laws started demanding one lakh rupees. When he protested, his in-laws started beating him.
When she complained to her husband about the in-laws beating her, he raped her. The woman alleged that her husband was constantly abusing her and no one listened to her when she was crying and screaming. When it did not fill her husband's heart, he threw the bottle into her private part. The next day his in-laws kicked him out of the house saying that if you bring one lakh rupees from your uncle's house then I will let you stay here.
The woman came to her uncle's house. The family members understood the in-laws and sent them back. Mama's relatives left the house as soon as her husband made her a hen in the sun, put bricks on her back and asked her to bring money from home. The woman alleged that her in-laws were fine for a few months when she became pregnant, but started torturing her badly when the daughter was born.
The woman alleged that she somehow got out of her in-laws' house and came to the SSP's office. The woman says her husband has an illicit affair with another woman, which is why he wants to get rid of her and her child.
The victim has lodged a complaint with the SSP's office seeking action against her husband. According to the police, the woman has been married for 3 years. The woman alleges that her husband committed adultery with her because she did not get the dowry she wanted in the marriage.
